Purpose:
This ritual is designed to intentionally close the energetic contracts of the old year and establish new pathways for material stability, opportunity, and aligned abundance in the year ahead.

Why New Year’s Eve (Wednesday / Mercury Day)

New Year’s Eve is a liminal threshold. It is a point where time is neither fully one year nor the next. Performing the first phase on Mercury Day allows you to consciously address:

• Financial narratives and subconscious money patterns

• Spoken and unspoken contracts around survival, labor, and worth

• Decisions, applications, conversations, and agreements that shape income

This phase focuses on clarity, articulation, and release.

Why New Year’s Day (Thursday / Jupiter Day)

The second phase occurs on Jupiter Day, which governs expansion, prosperity, growth, and long-term success.

Rather than “asking” for abundance, this phase establishes new terms:

• What you are available for

• What kind of growth you consent to

• What systems of support you align with

Jupiter expands whatever is already in motion, which is why the Mercury phase comes first. Clear intention precedes expansion.

How the Two Parts Work Together

• Thursday: Claim, expand, and anchor
