Babylon Therapeutics

Babylon Therapeutics offers botanical products rooted in ancient medicinal traditions (Lenape, Shawnee, Dutch, Greek, Sri-Lankan) and informed by modern therapeutic understanding. Our work centers on the belief that the body responds best to care that is thoughtful, well-researched, and deeply respectful of both plant intelligence and human physiology.

Inspired by the legendary gardens and healing practices of the ancient world, Babylon Therapeutics creates small-batch formulations designed to support the body through chronic discomfort, skin conditions, and periods of physical stress. Each product is developed with intention, prioritizing gentle efficacy, high-quality botanical ingredients, and formulations that honor the skin as a living organ.

Our offerings include topical preparations such as balms, oils, and creams crafted to support joint comfort, hormonal balance, and skin resilience. While our approach draws from historical herbal knowledge, our formulations are designed for modern, everyday use.

Babylon Therapeutics does not position itself as a replacement for medical treatment, but as a complementary practice grounded in care, education, and respect for the complexity of the human body. Wanìshi, Danki, thank you for trusting us!

Hè, Greetings

I’m DeAnna, Master of Public Health and Herbalist with an ancestry of Lenape, Shawnee, PA Dutch, Greek, Eastern European, and South Asian. Babylon Therapeutics grew from a lifelong relationship with plants, study, and the question of how humans heal individually, culturally, and collectively.

My academic background is in cultural anthropology and history, with graduate-level training in public health focused on Indigenous health. Through this lens, I’ve spent years studying how different cultures understand medicine, ritual, and care; not as isolated practices, but as living systems. Plants, in these traditions, are never passive ingredients. They are teachers, allies, and participants in the healing process.

My work has lived inside modern healthcare systems and nonprofit leadership, including years supporting patients navigating complex medical landscapes, oncology care, and access to treatment. That experience deeply informs how I approach formulation. I hold respect for clinical realities, chronic illness, nervous system regulation, and the need for gentleness and discernment in care. Everything I create is shaped by an understanding that bodies are complex, adaptive, and deserving of thoughtful support rather than force.

Spiritually, my practice is devotional, ancestral, and esoteric in nature. I work in conscious relationship with plants, ritual, and the unseen, honoring both the mystical and the practical. This spiritual orientation is not something I layer on top of my work. It is how I listen, how I formulate, and how I move with intention. I believe healing happens most sustainably when approached with humility, presence, and respect for the intelligence already held within the body.

With the abundant guidance of my Ancestors, my Deities, and my Spirit Guides, I bring you Babylon Therapeutics.
